“Choose my instruction rather than silver, and Knowledge over pure gold.  For wisdom is far more valuable than rubies.  Nothing you desire can be compared with it.”  Proverbs 8:10-11 NLT

People want so many great and valuable things in life.  They wan a nice big home, fancy cars, dream vacations, gorgeous spouses, fabulous jewelry, and everything else that comes with the life of the rich and famous.  They want all these things, but the proverb states all of “nothing”can be compared with wisdom from God, for wisdom is far more valuable.  Seek wisdom.

A proverb a day: Proverbs 6:6-11 -Learn from ants

“Take a lesson from the ants, you lazybones. Learn from their ways and be wise!   Even though they have no prince, governor, or ruler to make them work, they labor hard all summer, gathering food for the winter.  But you, lazybones, how long will you sleep? When will you wake up? I want you to learn this lesson:   A little extra sleep, a little more slumber, a little folding of the hands to rest- and poverty will pounce on you like a bandit; scarcity will attack you like an armed robber.”  Proverbs 6:6-11 NLT

Just reading that should give you all the clarity you need.  Don’t let scarcity slip up on you.

Be wise.

A proverb a day: Proverbs 4:23 – Your heart affects your success.

“Above all else, guard your heart, for it affects everything you do.”  Proverbs 4:23 NLT

If you don’t hear anything else I say, remember these words, “guard your heart…”

All people if they have any kind of sense are seeking to be successful.  Success I know looks different to people and I am not trying to define it for anyone, but what I am encouraging you to do is to protect your heart.

Why protect your heart?  Well because successful outcomes come only by proper inputs.  What you do today will affect your tomorrow.  That is why it is essential that you guard your heart, or shall I say be aware of your motives.  If your motives are pure, you’ll do just fine, but is when you allow your heart to be decieved by the wickedness of this world that you’ll beging to make faulty decisions therefore predicting a devastating outcome.

To be successful, “guard your heart…it affects everything you do.”

Be wise.

A proverb a day: Proverbs 3:9-10 -The key to financial success.

People all over the world are seeking to become financially free.  A place in their lives where the amount of money that they have far out weigh the amount of obligations they owe, therefore making them free to make the decision to work or not.

I will admit, I am one of these people.  It’s not that I don’t want to work.  I would just like to choose the field in which I want to work and not be directed by certain financial crisis, or be dependent on government bail outs.

In my quest for financial freedom I have figured out the key to financial success.  The key lies in the book of Proverbs.  It has been their for centuries and many wise men have taken advantage, and on the other hand many people chose a different path.  Here is the key:

“Honour the LORD with thy substance, and with the firstfruits of all thine increase:  So shall thy barns be filled with plenty, and thy presses shall burst out with new wine.”  Proverbs 3:9-10 KJV

Seems simple, but so many people fail to follow the instructions of God.  If we just pause to think about where our substance comes from, from where we get our ableness to work to earn money, from where all of our blessings flow, we should have no problem realizing that following this proverb should be a natural outflow of life.  For our very life is dependent upon this great God.

Knowing all of this now gives those that follow these wise instructions an advantage in the finacial world.  We shall have plenty if we honour God first, and with our best.  Tithes of our earnings is our first and all the giving that follows becomes our best.

I am so happy I found the key to financial success and I wanted to share the key with you.  We can all be financially victorious if we just follow this simple proverb.

Are you ready to have plenty?  Are you ready to be financially free?

Be wise.

A proverb a day: Proverbs 16:3–Key to Success

I have found the key to success.  So many people seek to succeed in life, and many have various ways upon looking at what success really is.  The proverb of the day will solve everyone’s dilemma on becoming the most successful in whatever area of life the see fit.

“Commit your work to the Lord, and then your plans will succeed.”  -Proverbs 16:3 NLT

You think to yourself, “..is it really that easy…” Well I would encourage you to believe it to be so.  For when you begin to do what you do for the Lord, you hold your standards of work higher.  You have a sense of excellence that God deserves that consists in your work.  You begin to be better prepared, for you don’t want to dissappoint our wonderful Lord.  By doing this your quality of work gets better, employers begin to recognize your great work ethic.  Sales begin to come in, because your customers see how well you know your stuff.  Your presentations are excellent because you’ve taken the time to prepare.  The list goes on.

When you take the time out to do all that you do for the Lord, he can’t help but to make you a success.

Keep working, but keep working for God.
