“People with good sense restrain their anger; they earn esteem by overlooking wrongs.” Proverbs 19:11 NLT
How often do you overlook wrongs done to you? Our proverb today encourages us to practice restraint. Sometimes people or events in our lives can make it very difficult to hold back our anger, and our frustration gets the best of us, but remember there is a reward for your obedience to this proverb. You will earn esteem, and people will begin to admire you.
Why do you think we honor Mr. Martin Luther King Jr. till this day?
Be wise.

“Whoever walks with the wise will become wise; whoever walks with fools will suffer harm.” -Proverbs 13:20
Who you associate with can make you or break you. If you continue in this world hanging around the wrong people, “fools” it will do nothing but bring you down, but if you seek out wise counsel, and stay in communication with the right people you will become wise and consequently become more successful.
Let me encourage you to stay away from those that mean you no good. Seek positive, wise, steady people to associate with, it will mean the world to your life.
Be wise.
