A Proverb a Day: Proverbs 6:12-15 You good for nothin’…

I was reading my son’s bible in my daily walk through proverbs today, and I loved how his version just says it like it is. Proverbs 6:12-14 says, “A good-for-nothing scoundrel is a person who has a dishonest mouth. He winks his eye, makes a signal with his foot, and points with his fingers. He devises evil all the time with a twisted mind. He spreads conflict.”
Now reading this gives me a clear picture of the kind of person I want to stay far away from, and it also reminds me of the kind of person I never want to become. I wouldn’t want to reap the rewards of this low down dirty scoundrel:
Verse 15 says this is what will happen to that person:“…disaster will come on him suddenly. In a moment he will be crushed beyond recovery.”‘
It all starts with a dishonest mouth. Just tell the truth ya’ll.
Be wise.
