“For the upright shall dwell in the land, and the perfect shall remain in it. But the wicked shall be cut off from the earth, and the transgressors shall be rooted out of it.” Proverbs 2:21-22 KJV
It seems to me everyone I know is trying their hardest to stay around. What I am getting at is everyone is trying whatever way to preserve there life on this earth as long as possible, and as prosperous as they can. But what I have come to know from reading this proverb is that only “the perfect shall remain in it.”
I know. I know. You’re saying to yourselves as you read this that no one is perfect of ever will be, and I can agree to a point. I agree that no one can be perfect of there own effort. There is nothing in this world they could do to gain perfection status, but if they add to the equation, Jesus and all of His righteousness then he will make them perfect before a Holy God.
How? You ask. Only believe that Jesus Christ is Lord and confess with your mouth, and you’ll be forgiven for a multitude of sin and wickedness.
Remember the proverb also states: “…the wicked shall be cut off from the earth…”
Don’t be cut off.
Be wise.
