“A lying tongue hateth [those that are] afflicted by it; and a flattering mouth worketh ruin.”  Proverbs 26:28 NLT

Be aware of those that seem to care for you, but quietly seek their own good.  Haters are what we call them, but sometimes they can be sly.  They sometimes come with flattering words, but they do nothing but set a trap for your feet.

I believe sometimes people can compliment you and really mean it, but keep a sober head, because a compliment can make you let up from your full go and you’ll find your self falling behind.
