Black people in America must immediately disengage from the diversions of mind-deadening entertainment, useless sports, hyper-sexuality, excessive social celebrations, pointless conversations and debates, meaningless media and the civil rights issue de jour approach to managing our problems.

Still Thankful.
Posted by Lance Lawshe in Family, Inspirational, Thankful on November 26, 2007
Although Thanksgiving the holiday has passed I am still thankful. Thankful that God has bought me a new day with his son Jesus’ blood. Thankful that my family is alive, well, and love me. Thankful that my mind is still functioning enough to enable me to be a provider for my people. Thankful that God is still opening doors, and opportunities for me to be a blessing to others. Thankful for my mother and father, my sisters and brothers, my neices and nephews, my friends and other loved ones. I’m just thankful! Are you?
