I am excited to be able to witness another Robert S. Rogers Highschool girls relay team about to approach the state track meet. In Amherst today they will run the regional finals, under the coaching of my wife Zukeya. They are running the 4 X100 meter relay, and they have have a finalist in the 800 meter race as well.
So hopefully I will be heading down there this afternoon. First to pick up my sister in law then head to the track. Yes it will be a family affair. All the parents of the girls will be there, and that is the way it should be. I just wish the parents were just as much involved in their children’s classroom life as they are on the sports field.
